December 2004 I joined Microsoft’s .Net Market Development Team presenting the “Connected Systems” business value message of Services Orient Architecture within Financial Services. The campaign was very successful conveying the competitive advantages of .Net to CxO level executives within global 166 corporations concluding victory June 2005.

I then joined the Emerging Business Team July 2005 managing the Security Portfolio. The Microsoft Emerging Business Team (EBT) work with venture capitalists (VCs) and Independent Software Startups (ISVs) start-up companies worldwide to enable innovation and accelerate the software ecosystem. The Microsoft EBT mission is to identify and facilitate opportunity for start-ups and VCs, acting as the single point of contact and accountability to Microsoft.

Before Microsoft, I was employed by World Wide Financial Services Wall Street based firms supporting major technology initiatives. I have over 25 years of IT experience, the last 15 years in senior management within banking and insurance engaged in the development and supporting of distributed systems. My broader experience includes technology support of Hospital Information Systems, Bank Credit Card Systems, Retail & (CTO) Institutional Insurance, Corporate IT, as well as architecture of Data Warehousing and various hands-on Grid design systems developments.
